City of San Bernardino has selected Baron Brown to assume the role of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. Mr. Brown comes to the City previously serving as a Law Enforcement Consultant for CA Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission. Mr. Brown has worked extensively with various populations and historically underrepresented groups for over 30 years across three careers. He will begin in his role on January 10.
First 5 Santa Clara County has selected Andrew Stroud to assume the role of Chief Human Resources Officer. Mr. Stroud comes to the Agency previously serving as the Chief People Officer for Community Housing Partnership in San Francisco, CA. He will begin in his role on January 4.
City of Dayton has selected H. Steve Floyd to assume the role of City Manager. Mr. Floyd comes to the City previously serving as the Director of Public Works for City of Mont Belvieu, TX. He will begin in his role on January 3.
Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control District has selected Stacy Stark to assume the role of Human Resources and Risk Manager. Ms. Stark comes to the District previously serving as the Human Resources Manager for Gawfco Enterprises, Inc. She will begin in her role on December 17.
Contra Costa County has selected Ellen McDonnell to assume the role of Public Defender. Ms. McDonnell has been with the County for 20 years. She will begin in her role on December 14.
East Bay Regional Park District has selected Janelle Smith to assume the role of Chief of Workforce Development (Assistant Director of Human Resources). Ms. Smith comes to the District previously serving as the Employee Relations Manager for the City of Oakland. She will begin in her role on December 6.
City of League City has selected Kimberly Corell to assume the role of Director of Finance. Ms. Corell comes to the City previously serving as the Department Controller/Director of Accounting for State of Colorado, Department of Revenue. Ms. Corell has twenty-five years of experience in the accounting field and over the years has worked in the service industry, software industry, and governmental accounting. She will begin in her role on November 29.
City of Simi Valley has selected David Caceres to assume the role of City Attorney. Mr. Caceres previously served as the Interim City Attorney and has been with the City for over 10 years. He will begin in his role immediately.
City of Albany has selected Jim Boito to assume the role of Fire Chief. Mr. Boito has been with the Albany Fire Department for the past 25 years, and has over 30 years in the fire service.
City of Fresno has selected Aaron Aguirre to assume the role of Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services Director. Mr. Aguirre was serving as the Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services Assistant Director. Mr. Aguirre has over 13 years of experience working the City of Fresno. He will begin in his role immediately.
City of Oklahoma City has select Jeff Mulder to assume the role of Airports Director. Mr. Mulder comes to the City previously serving as Senior Consultant for Woolpert. Mr. Mulder has more than 30 years of aviation experience and 20 years of experience as an airport director. He will begin in his role on November 1.
The City of San Bernardino, CA has selected Jeff Kraus to assume the role of Public Information Officer. Mr. Kraus comes to the City previously serving as the Director, Local Government and Community Relations for University of California, Riverside. Mr. Kraus will begin in his role on October 25.
