Arizona Behavioral Health Corporation has selected Vanessa Carthell to assume the role of Director of Housing. Ms. Carthell comes to the organization previously serving as the Housing Manager for UMOM New Day Centers, Phoenix. She will begin her role on November 9, 2020.
The City of San Jose, CA has selected Jason Condit to assume the role of Senior Landscape Architect. Mr. Condit has been the Acting Senior Landscape Architect since December 2019 and has been with the City since 2001. He will begin in his new role on November 2, 2020.
City of League City has selected Candace Brown to assume the role of City Auditor. Ms. Brown comes to the City previously serving as the Internal Auditor for the City of Las Cruces. She will begin in her role on October 12, 2020.
City of Sheridan, CO has selected Jeffrey Martinez to assume the role of Police Chief. Mr. Martinez comes to the City previously serving as the Commander of Police - Homeland Security Bureau for the Denver Police Department. He will begin in his new role on October 12, 2020.
City of Berkeley, CA has appointed Tess Mayer as its next Director of Library Services. Since February 2015, Ms. Mayer has served as the Director, Library Outreach, Programs, and Services for the King County Library System in Washington. Prior to her King County service, Ms. Mayer spent 10 years with the Seattle Public Library where she progressed from a Senior Librarian role to Downtown Regional Manager for the City’s Central Library. She will start in her new role on October 5, 2020.
Prince William County, VA has selected Joseph Gilkerson to assume the role of Human Resources Director. Mr. Gilkerson has been with Prince William County since 2019. He will begin in his new role on October 1, 2020.
San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District has selected Brian Weber to assume the role of District Manager. Mr. Weber has 15 years of experience in mosquito and vector control. He will begin in his new role on October 1, 2020.
City of Carson, CA has selected Robert Lennox to assume the role of Director of Community Services/Parks and Recreation. Mr. Lennox brings more than 15 years of experience in Community Services. He will begin his new role on September 28, 2020.
Utah Transit Authority has selected Bill Greene to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Greene comes to the Agency from the King County DOT where he was a Chief Financial Officer. He will begin in his new role on September 21, 2020.
California Human Development has selected Thomas Stuebner as their Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Stuebner was chosen to lead CHD after an extensive search of more than 100 candidates. The entire Board of Directors noted that they, “found his experience, background, vision, and passion to be the perfect fit for CHD to eagerly uphold our mission and to ensure growth and sustainability for many years to come.”
