The City of New Braunfels has selected Chad Donegan to assume the role of Deputy Clerk-Recorder. Mr. Donegan comes to the city previously serving as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation. Mr. Donegan graduated from the PGA Golf Professional Training Program, has managed multiple divisions with the New Braunfels Parks System, and has over 28 years of experience. He will begin in his role on September 25.

City of Gillette, WY

Michael Cole

City of Gillette has selected Michael Cole to assume the role of City Administrator. Mr. Cole was previously serving as the Interim City Administrator for the City. Mr. Cole is a fifth-generation Wyoming native and has nearly 30 years of post-graduate experience serving as an engineering consultant, manager and director in four separate government organizations and four separate private corporations. He will begin in his role on September 18.

City and County of San Francisco

Tyrone Jue

City and County of San Francisco has selected Tyrone Jue to assume the role of Director of the Environment Department. Mr. Jue was previously serving as the Acting Director of the Environment Department. Mr. Jue led the department through the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget process, securing $2.6 million in general fund support to implement the 2021 Climate Action Plan. He will begin in his role immediately.

Nathan Roberts

Community Transit has selected Nathan Roberts to assume the role of Director of Finance. Mr. Roberts comes to the Agency previously serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Workforce Snohomish. Mr. Roberts has over 15 years of grant and donation-funded humanitarian non-profit and for-profit experience. He will begin in his role on September 11.

Jackson County, OR

Jonian Scofield

Jackson County has selected Jonian Scofield to assume the role of Human Resources Director. Mr. Scofield comes to the County previously serving as the Human Resources Director for Josephine County. Mr. Scofield has 19 years of human resources experience including Recruitment, Labor Relations, Policy Creation, and Benefit Administration. He will begin in his role on September 5.

Laila Cassis

Trinity County has selected Laila Cassis to assume the role of Director of Human Resources. Ms. Cassis comes to the County previously serving as the Chief HR Consultant for Cassis Consulting. Ms. Cassis provides advanced human resources consulting and guidance to clients and associates/employees in compliance with company policy and federal, state, international, and local laws and has served as legal, operations, and HR advisor to the hospitality industry – hotels, restaurants, and retail establishments. She will begin in her role on September 1.

Citywide Communications & Engagement Director
City of Oakland, CA

Sean Maher

City of Oakland has selected Sean Maher to assume the role of Citywide Communications & Engagement Director. Mr. Maher was previously serving as the Assistant to the Director of Public Works for the City. Mr. Maher has years of experience leading transparency and accountability work for the City, including as a Public Information Officer managing media inquiries and pushing out proactive news releases and information. He will begin in his role immediately.

George Croll

Indian Wells Valley Water District has selected George Croll to assume the role of General Manager. Mr. Croll comes to the District previously serving as the General Manager for the United States Air Force. Mr. Croll has over 25 years of Public Service for the HQ EPA in Washington DC and US Air Force/Space Force at Vandenberg AFB in Santa Barbara County CA. He will begin in his role immediately.

Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District

Leonard Bellow

Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District has selected Leonard Bellow to assume the role of Labor Relations Manager. Mr. Bellow comes to the district previously serving as the Human Resources Director for Sutter Health Eden Medical center. Mr. Bellow has partnered with key executives across the businesses to drive employee engagement, morale, and performance in an environment experiencing both significant external and internal organizational change and brings over 25 years of experience. He will begin in his role on August 21.

City of Richmond, CA

Kate Eppler

City of Richmond has selected Kate Eppler to assume the role of Deputy Director of Community Services - Library. Ms. Eppler comes to the City previously serving as the Digital Equity Manager, Community Programs and Partnerships for San Francisco Public Library. Ms. Eppler has designed, implemented and coordinated system-wide programs and service to increase digital equity and brings over 16 years of experience in public libraries. She will begin in her role on August 7.

Tammy Tucker

The City of Golden, CO has selected Tammy Tucker to assume the role of Director of Parks and Recreation. Ms. Tucker comes to the City previously serving as the Parks, Recreation & Open Space Director for Highlands Ranch Metro District. Ms. Tucker has learned to assess the unique characteristics of the community she serves to identify and implement services which provide vibrancy, create an identity, and become a source of pride contributing to the community’s health and happiness. She brings over 25 years of experience developing teams in all areas of recreation services, including non-profit, university, and municipal settings. She will begin her role on July 31.

Municipalities, Colleges, Schools Insurance Group (MCSIG) has selected Nereyda Sarmiento to assume the role of Executive Director. Ms. Sarmiento comes to the Group previously serving as the Interim Executive Director at MCSIG. Ms. Sarmiento has an in-depth understanding of MCSIG’s budget, and will maintain essential relationships with MCSIG vendors, stakeholders, and communication with MCSIG’s Board to continue the vital work at MCSIG and brings over 28 years of management experience. She will begin in her role immediately.
