The City of Long Beach has selected Tiffany Lam to assume the role of Deputy City Auditor. Ms. Lam comes to the city previously serving as the Senior Manager for Davis Farr LLP. Ms. Lam has over 10 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, and internal controls. She will begin in her role on June 26.

Marla Blagg

Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District has selected Marla Blagg to assume the role of Director of Safety, Security, and Training. Ms. Blagg's comes to the District previously serving as the Emergency Management Adjunct Instructor for Texas A&M University, Texas Engineering Extension Service. Ms. Blagg's extensive experience in public safety, security and emergency management expertise includes 15+ years of progressive experience overseeing diverse and cross-functional teams to decrease risk, improve operational efficiencies and resilience. She will begin in her role on June 26.

Mariana Chavez-Vazquez

City of San Jose has selected Mariana Chavez-Vazquez to assume the role of Assistant Director for the Environmental Services Department. Ms. Chavez-Vazquez was previously serving as the Deputy Director for the City's Capital Improvement Program. Ms. Chavez-Vazquez has over 20 years of experience in the environmental engineering field, with specific emphasis on wastewater projects. She will begin in her role immediately.

Mrs. Dearman-Peterson's comes to the Township previously serving as the Director of Public Affairs for City of Seabrook, TX. Mrs. Dearman-Peterson's extensive experience filling many roles including serving as the director and manager of communications, events, marketing, tourism, community relations, engagement and special projects will serve the Township well. Mandy Hayes

City of Grants Pass has selected Mandy Hayes to assume the role of Resources Director. Ms. Hayes comes to the County previously serving as the Human Resources Manager for the Housing Authority of Yamhill County. Ms. Hayes has extensive experience in employee relations, representation, benefits, policy management, budgeting, and relationship building. She will begin in her role on May 22.

City of Safford has selected Keenan Lazenby to assume the role of Finance Officer. Mr. Lazenby's comes to the city previously serving as the Finance Department Lead for The Children’s Assessment Center. Mr. Lazenby's 10+ years of experience working in the Financial and Controller realms of non-profit and public higher education, required him to achieve, create, improve, or lead many initiatives to achieve economic efficiency, and implement strategic and financial maximization. He will begin in his role on May 22

Sierra Lakes County Water District

Shauna Lorance

Sierra Lakes County Water District has selected Shauna Lorance to assume the role of General Manager. Ms. Lorance had previously served as the Public Utilities Director for City of San Diego. Ms. Lorance has 30 years of experience with 23 years of executive management experience at public water agencies, including 13 years as a General Manager, as well as technical experience as a water resources consulting engineer. She will begin in her role on May 12.

Central Contra Costa Sanitary District

Philip Leiber and Greg Norby

Central Contra Costa Sanitary District has selected Philip Leiber and Greg Norby to assume the roles of Deputy General Manager. Mr. Leiber was previously serving as the Director of Finance & Administration for the District and will begin in his role immediately. Mr. Norby comes to the District previously serving as the Assistant General Manager of Wastewater & Stormwater Enterprise for San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and will begin in his role May 30.

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD)

Christina Tsevoukas

North Texas Municipal Water District has selected Christina Tsevoukas to assume the role of General Counsel. Christina Tsevoukas comes to the District previously serving as the Chief of Government Services Section for the City of Dallas, TX. Ms. Tsevoukas has extensive experience in advising the City Council/Manager, the city secretary, and several City of Dallas departments regularly, including the Water Utilities Department, the Department of Transportation, Department of Aviation, Information Technology Services, the City Controller’s Office, and the Department of Human Resources. She will begin in her role on May 1.
