Lisa is a Senior Human Resources and Management Consultant who strives to help leaders and supervisors in developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to lead and coach their employees successfully. She provides training in a variety of human resources, leadership, workers' compensation, and safety. She is based in Des Moines, IA, and has over twenty years of human resources experience in both the public and private sectors. Most recently as a Human Resources and Management Adviser with a quasi-governmental workers compensation pool and state league of cities as well as her consulting firm. She is a member of the Central Iowa Society of Human Resources Management, the National Public Employer Relations Association, the Iowa Public Employer Relations Association, and the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology. Lisa earned both her Senior Professional Human Resources Certification (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional Certification (SHRM-SCP).
Lisa is an adjunct instructor at the University of Iowa and Grand View University.
Lisa has presented at various cities, counties, and quasi-governmental agencies as well as their support associations and agencies.
