Mr. Barillas comes to the City previously serving as the Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Specialist for ACT Enviro. Mr. Barillas has over 15 years of experience in the Environmental Industry. He will begin in his role on September 18.
San Diego County Water Authority has selected David Edwards to assume the role of General Counsel. Mr. Edwards comes to the Agency previously serving as an Attorney for Los Angeles Department of Water & Power. He will begin in his role on September 12.
The City of Fort Worth has selected David Medrano to assume the role of City Auditor. Mr. Medrano comes to the City previously serving as the Chief Internal Auditor for Imperial Irrigation District, CA. He will begin in his role on September 6.
Los Angeles County Sanitation District has selected Erica Terrell to assume the role of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Programs Manager. Ms. Terrell comes to the District previously serving as System Partner, DEI & Anti-Racism System Lead for Achievement Network, CA. She has more than 12 years of experience leading organizations through cultural diversity change management centered on diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism models. She will begin in her role on August 29.
Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority has selected Christopher Celsi to assume the role of Executive Director. Mr. Celsi comes to the Agency previously serving as the Resource Recovery & Recycling Manager for City of Santa Monica, CA. Mr. Celsi has over 25 years of experience in solid waste and recycling, fleet, and facilities management and over 15 years of senior management in public and private solid waste, recycling and organics sector. He will begin on August 29.
Utah Transit Authority has selected Steven Wright to assume the role of Deputy Clerk-Recorder. Mr. Wright comes to the Authority previously serving as the Principle for Steve Wright, LLC. He will begin in his role on August 15.
The City of Bellaire has selected Sharon Citino to assume the role of City Manager. Ms. Citino comes to the City previously serving as the Houston Water Planning Director for the City of Houston. Ms. Citino has 20 years of local government experience working with elected and public officials, community stakeholders, and staff to achieve results that are aligned with City Council goals. She will begin in her role on August 15.
County of Ventura has selected Sevet Johnson to assume the role of County Executive Officer. Ms. Johnson was previously serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for the County. She will begin in her role immediately.
City of Scottsdale has selected Erin Perrault to assume the role of Executive Director of Planning, Economic Development and Tourism. Ms. Perrault was previously serving as the Acting Executive Director for the County. She will begin in her role on August 1.
California Tahoe Conservancy has selected Jason Vasques to assume the role of Executive Officer. Mr. Vasques was previously serving as the Landscape Forestry Supervisor with the Agency. He will begin in his role immediately.
City of Monterey has selected Brian Edwards to assume the role of Director of Library Services. Mr. Edwards comes to the City previously serving as the Library Division Director for Alameda County Library and Fremont Libraries. He will begin in his role immediately.
