County of Ventura, CA has selected Tiffany North to assume the role of County Counsel. Ms. Wood comes to the County previously serving as the Assistant County Counsel for the County of Riverside, where she helped to lead 84 deputy attorneys and staff in four offices throughout the County with an annual departmental budget of approximately $16 million. She will begin in her role on April 21, 2021.
FIRST 5 Santa Clara County has selected Maureen Shilling to assume the role of Deputy Chief of Finance. Ms. Shilling comes to the Agency previously serving as the Finance and Ops Leader for WeHOPE. Ms. Shilling brings over 10 years of finance experience. She will begin in her role on April 19, 2021.
East Bay Regional Park District has selected Robert Kennedy to assume the role of Chief of Maintenance and Skilled Trades. Mr. Kennedy comes to the District previously serving as the Interim Public Works Operations Manager, Sewer and Drainage for the City of Oakland and the Parks Manager for the City of Concord. He will begin in his role on April 12, 2021.
City of Missouri City has selected Mario Partida to assume the role of Fire Chief. Mr. Partida was previously serving as the Acting Fire Chief for the City. He will begin in his new role immediately.
San Mateo County Transit District has selected Mehul Kumar to assume the role of Executive Officer, IT and Telecommunications. Mr. Kumar comes to the District previously serving as Senior Director for LA Metro. He will begin in his role in April 2021.
The City of Vancouver has selected Jennifer Williamson to assume the role of Public Works Director. Ms. Williamson comes to the City previously serving as Director of Engineering & Construction for the Port of Portland. She will begin in her role in April 2021.
LA Metro has selected Judy Gerhardt to assume the role of Chief Systems Security and Law Enforcement Officer. Ms. Garhardt comes to the Agency having retired from the LA County Sheriff's Department after 40 years of service. She will begin in her role in April 2021.
The City of Amarillo has selected Paul Alcantar to assume the role of Assistant Solid Waste Superintendent. Mr. Alcantar comes to the City previously serving as the Solid Waste Commissioner for the City of Cleveland. He will being in his role in April 2021.
Skagit County, WA has selected Bonnie Haley to assume the role of Director of Human Resources/Risk Management. Ms. Haley comes to the County previously serving as the Director of Human Resources, Risk Management, Finance and Operations for La Conner School District. Ms. Haley brings close to 20 years of Human Resources experience. She will begin in her role on March 22, 2021.
City of San Jose, CA has selected Lisa Valerio to assume the role of Manager of Facilities (Building Management Administrator). Ms. Valerio has been with the City for almost 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge in project management and administration. She will begin in her role on March 22, 2021.
East Bay Regional Park District has selected Sabrina Landreth to assume the role of General Manager. Ms. Landreth comes to the District previously serving as the City Administer for the City of Oakland. Ms. Landreth has extensive management experience in local government, and a strong educational background as well. She will begin in her role on March 15.
City of Glendale, CA has selected Roubik Golanian to assume the role of City Manager. Mr. Golanian has been with the City of Glendale for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience. He will begin in his role on March 10, 2021.
