Trinity County has selected Trent Tuthill to assume the role of County Administrative Officer. Mr. Tuthill comes to the County previously serving as the Director of Contracting for the US Air Force. Mr. Tuthill has over 30 years of government experience in operations, strategic planning, personnel, support services, budget planning/execution, program management, contract development, and management and international partnerships. He will begin in his role on April 19.

Mr. Riddle comes to the County previously serving as the Chief, Disability and Survivor Benefits for California Public Employees' Retirement System. He will begin his role immediately.

Douglas County has selected Jeffrey Garcia to assume the role of County Attorney. Mr. Garcia comes to the County previously serving as the Deputy Executive Manager for the City & County of Denver. He will begin in his role on April 1.

Jason Morrish

Sacramento County Employees' Retirement System has selected Jason Morrish to assume the role of General Counsel. Mr. Morrish comes to the County previously serving as the Deputy County Counsel for County of San Joaquin. Mr. Morrish was with the County for 18 years and, since 2017, had acted as General Counsel to the $3.8 billion San Joaquin County Employees’ Retirement Association. He will begin in his role immediately.

Veronica Cazares

Selma-Kingsburg-Fowler County Sanitation District has selected Veronica Cazares to assume the role of General Manager. Ms. Cazares was previously serving as the District Engineer for the Agency. Ms. Cazares has experience in capital project planning, development of the sewer collection system, operation and maintenance of a 170-mile sewer collection system, customer service, and financial aspects of the District. She will begin her role immediately.

City of South Gate has selected Thurman Green to assume the role of Risk Manager. Mr. Green comes to the City previously serving as the Risk & Liability Analyst for Los Angeles World Airports. Mr. Green has nearly 35 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors and has undergone specialized training in Risk Management, diversity, workplace behavior and emergency preparedness. He will begin in his role on March 13.

The Housing Authority of the City of San Luis Obispo has selected Scott Collins to assume the role of Executive Director. Mr. Collins comes to the Housing Authority previously serving as the City Manager for City of Morro Bay. Mr. Collins has extensive experience creating and implementing community engagement plans on housing initiatives. He will begin in his role on March 13.
